UPDATE (December 11, 2019): Christie’s recent Supreme-packed auction Handbags x Hype has ended, seeing 89% of its lots considerably surpassing their estimates. Notable sales included the Supreme x Louis Vuitton Malle Courrier 90 trunk, a piece that was originally estimated to sell for up to $60,000 USD, but eventually hit the hammer at $125,000 USD.

Elsewhere, a two-piece set of signed KAWS Chum Skateboards expected to flog between $7000 USD and $9000 USD finally sold for over three times estimate at $32,500 USD, while a singular Supreme x Louis Vuitton skateboard expected to fetch up to $7000 USD sold for a total of $30,000 USD.

Sought-after artist skateboards are also here, accompanying the covetable accessories. These include items designed by Harmony Korine, Richard Prince, Damien Hirst, KAWS, Andrei Molodkin, Takashi Murakami, George Condo, Raymond Pettibon and more. Accompanying the artist collaborations are an array of rare skateboards that include original “Copyright” decks from 1998, 2011’s “Snow White” boards and a full set of the boards that won a cease & desist from Louis Vuitton in 2000, plus the official collaborative deck that dropped in 2017 (estimated to bring in up to $7,000 USD).

Visit the Christie’s website to scan the entire Supreme sale and prepare to start bidding on November 26. The auction ends on December 10.

Most recently, Supreme rejoined Phaidon for another commemorative hardcover book.
